Liberal Elite Still Luring Us Towards the Abyss
I'm wondering if the writer had some sort of electrical system wired up to him so that when ever the thought of capitalism entered his mind it shocked the hell out of him. As Marx, Lenin, and today, Hedges, have so correctly explained of what happens when capitalism and liberalism collide, the benefits of the means of production over time rockets to the top of society. Strangling those at the bottom of inequality to buy the products of capitalism. Which always turns society towards warfare and colonialism to keep it, capitalism, productive. Which is usually a means to expand that time frames technology while pillaging that area for its land for expansion, resources, and or slavery, often involving genocide.
Today I would argue it's a means to stifle the growth of technology also. I will argue that there have been technological advances made being kept from us to keep society from advancing. Maybe with good, and or, not good reasons. I'm fairly certain more than just the US have made these advances. China and Russia of course being the other top developers. Weaponry being the bad, along with anything taking us from fossil fuels to keep the inequality check mate applied on us. The good would require allowing a more free society which could lead to the end of poverty and political ruling class holding us in that check mate. I'm getting off topic though. SO, I'll leave that right there.
Asking for an answer in there he was. Well it's not rocket science. As long as the ruling class and politicians continue to run society as is, the means of production and jobs for production will never be equally distributed throughout society. If they were, it would also open up small farming communities lost in world trade agreements which could be established once again. Ending food waste in a horrific world distribution scheme. Provide local jobs in resource areas over large corporations monopolies that move in extorting the profits. In which local people would be more concerned about the environment. Market manipulation of currencies and trade have to end! I could go on and on with this but. We're at a point in human existence where we need to think as a collective over tribalism! Look around the world. We as a collective have a class war agenda being waged on us in all countries. Its never been so more evident.
I would not say it is liberalism that has turned us Narcissistic and lonely, I would put the blame on social media. We do not interact person to person anymore.
It did create a major curve in that regard of society!
This is the view our Pentagon has for our future. It's quite scary!
