Trump Wants Socialism for the Rich, Brutal Capitalism for the Rest of Us
(To the conservative mind, the specter of socialism conjures up a society in which no one is held accountable, and no one has to work for what they receive. Yet that's exactly the society Trump and the Republicans are promoting for the rich.)
Lets not forget, Trump also put a lot of family businesses out of business after decades of being in business. Their last business affair being because Trump refused to pay for their services. Long lengthy court battles which they couldn't afford to fight a billionaire often ended up with them going broke and letting the workers go. So if you're an upper middle class type, maybe with a business, you're fair game also. You're not in the club either. Many who voted for Trump would be among this category.
Just for the record. I don't care to much for Robert Reich either. He knows all the ends and outs. He worked in the Clinton administration. He knows all the DC songs and can sing my song beautifully. But when it comes down to the end, he always ends up backing the democrats knowing the game they play. He's in the same boat with Noam Chomsky, if you happened to have caught my feelings about him a few weeks back. During the 2016 primary cycle Robert Reich gave all the reasons we should vote for Bernie Sanders, gave all the indications of why not to vote for Hillary Clinton from his time in the Clinton administration, then put his support behind Clinton in the end. I'm not sorry! If you call shit then go eat the shit, you're as much a part of the shit also.
Am I shit? I denounced Common Dreams a week ago for a week of towing the establishment line, now they've been putting out about a weeks worth of really decent articles. I know it mostly depends on certain writers and journalist, but dam mit, can't they get an editor that stands on top of the fence over jumping into the illusion and back out!?!
As to Bernie, even he has been towing the establishment line on Venezuela recently.
I agree. I tried to post something the other day on Bad socialism by Lawrence O' Donnell's The last Word on here but it would not post. Posted just fine on Face Book. As for Robert Reich, after Bernie did not get the nomination, what choice did he have, back Trump? It was either one shit pie or a truck load. I voted for the one, but wanted Bernie.
