It's expected to be trial ready by the end of 2020. Fucking insane........and I'll pass!

The feudal system worked very well for the aristocracy of England and Europe. The Magna Carta was the start of the idea of liberty and freedoms. Still it really only applied to the wealthy and those the wealthy chose. Throughout the ages there has been the rulers at the top and everyone else are little people, pretty much slaves to the wealthy rulers. For a brief moment in time there was a wonderful middle class in the U.S., IMHO, but it was a real threat to the wealthy. People had time to get educated - it was still pretty flawed but the hope was there. Then the 60's and corruption, with again IMHO, fueled by the military machine.
So no it would not surprise me at all - religion as a tool to control the masses isn't working any more and the controllers really like the way things are working out in China, Russia and North Korea.
Remember Hilter modeled his solution to the Jews on the Jim Crow laws of the American south.
That the current regime in WA DC has done nothing nor denounced trump cozying up to the world dictators tells me they like the way things are going.
