CIA sets terms for Democrats’ impeachment inquiry into Trump’s crimes
[It is not on the basis of any democratic issue that the Democrats have opposed Trump, however. Rather, they speak for powerful sections of the military and intelligence apparatus that have lost confidence in the ability of the Trump administration to carry out the foreign policy agenda of the ruling class.]
The ruling class was willing to accept Trump and his antics towards a more public sense of fascism and all the rest of his socially unacceptable practices, but not the outing of an agenda they orchestrated in Ukraine and their puppet's that are on their strings. This is an issue many here like myself that probably considered he would be kept in line by those around him for the establishment as it became clear he might actually win the white house.

In other words. They want as little as possible of the information that goes into the Ukraine deal to make out into the public.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.At first I thought he might be going along with their foreign policy, but the extent of it is putting more troops in areas without actually engaging them.............from what I know or is reported. He also pulled out of agreements and put sanctions on other nations like Iran and Venezuela. I'm still very surprised that he hasn't really taken any new military action against either nation. Is he just trying to appease the establishment by making it look like he supports their foreign agenda while at the same time not taking a massive action like attacking or invading Iran or Venezuela? His agenda is a little confusing to me. Had the establishment figured out his stance very early on and tried to actually make up dirt on him?

Playing this out like they did Iraq? Sanctions for several years killing off as many as possible and weakening citizen support. Only with Iran and Venezuela I don't think it will work.
Iran isn't wrapped up in the holy Islam war like the other countries over there and have a decent hold against the types of groups that come with western interference. Much like Iraq did. So it will take another false narrative they believe they can get away with.
I don't believe they can push enough ISIS and Al Qaeda into Iran like they did with Syria to break Iran down. Iran will not tolerate that. Lets not forget. Iran was kicking Iraq's ass in their war. It took secret involvement from the UK and US to get Iraq back into that war. And Syria's problem is being to close to Israel. By the time the Russians came in Assad had lost to much. To many fronts to contend on his own.
The Venezuelan people know and feel the results of what Chavez did. They want that back! And those that migrated (in the millions) to Venezuela who reaped the rewards of Chavez's era will continue to stay faithful also. That's hard to fight against. With the vast jungle like country sides of Venezuela, you're looking at another Vietnam type of warfare. Leaving you 2 choices. Major losses of life in combat conditions, or nuclear use. Hit and skip in larger cities you might be able to take will lead to years of occupation like Afghanistan.
