I often play the devils advocate with a question or suggestion here. Not to long ago I brought up this very occurrence as I poked fun at the CIA biting him for letting them in. Don't play Trump the fool they manage to perceive. He's managed to milk the system with bribes, fraud, and lengthy court battles for decades. He's managed to walk away from failed business and broken contracts that have put many of family businesses down while remaining wealthy and unaccountable. With a giant smile I might add as he's been in the mix of the biggest names on the planet. And managed to con many governors and Mayors in NY and NJ out of a lot of tax payer dollars to get a lot for a very little. He's not the GWB they make him out to be.

History is filled with more ruthless leaders than great leaders. He hires smart ruthless lawyers. Left on his own he would have lost everything a long time ago. When the helicopter carrying trump executives crashed in 89 that is when his empire started having real problems. This is when he started running things. Your dog could run a casino and not lose money. He lost three casinos.

I think so too. He's not stupid. People's partisan politics have them throwing out primal responses. GWB is definitely stupid. Trump is different. If people weren't so biased or blinded by his antics then they would see it. Underestimating him was what caused Hillary and the DNC to fail in beating him in the election. They're doing it again. Not that I don't think the DNC is just jocking to have their own establishment stooge instead of Trump. Who knows, maybe they are even ok with Trump being in there and it's all just theater.
