2019 was a big year for The Grayzone. We traveled the world and broke many stories, exposing the empire’s schemes and deceptions. As a direct consequence, we faced an unprecedented wave of attacks, censorship attempts, and repression. Here is a list of our top 20 reports.

Most, if not all of these, made the post here in this group this year. If you're new or newish to the group, this is one of my most trusted and stable news sources. This outlet has what I consider the best crew in independent investigative news coverage to be found with a reliable standing record than any other. I would go so far to even put them in front of Consortium News today. And that speaks volumes for me! Most of the work is their own, what few others make it on to the site have also been unquestionable I have found to date.

Since going independent from AlterNet.org in 2018, Max Blumenthal has done an outstanding job of delivering the best factual and complete news coverage you'll never see from MSM over the past 2 years. Ben Norton and Arron Mate made their way over from The Real News Network to The Greyzone who I've been fans of for a few years. While I tend to use TRNN on occasion they have some questionable leaning at times. Which I imagine may be a reason both left. Mate leaving shortly after his interview with Luke Harding. Which I consider a historic smack down on the false Russiagate issue of the Steel Dossier.

Below are some of the content I found to be of great interest and provide great insight. But all of these articles or video interviews provide great information to catch up on.

6. Dissecting Russiagate with Pushback---This is an interview Arron does with his father, Gabor. I rate it as a must see! If you're not into video the transcript is also provided. But I must suggest the video highly offers more than a read would provide! Well worth the time!

7. Unmasking State Department ‘socialists’-----This is an article exposing the fake socialist groups and entities uniting behind a facade within support for the US State Department. Who support the likes of the squad of 4 and Bernie Sanders. If you're of a genuine left, progressive, or social nature, I highly suggest you avoid these people and get your information from [wsws.org] for a real sense of working class concerns. Who support the SEP (Socialist Equality Party). At WSWS you can also find more information exposing these people and entities of their true nature. This really is another need to read for information related to many aspects of the political nature we are fighting against.

8. Exposing the harms of US/EU sanctions on Syria----A short video, 16 minutes, exposing some truths of Syria. And Max doesn't take a side here. But he exposes the true nature of what really went down in Syria, who's behind it, why, and how citizens feel and what they've been through.
