I've had a member on my mind recently, her name was something like siouxcity or such. Has anyone else seen her possibly on the politics forum or other groups? I watched her change in her political views over my time here on the site, for the better as far as I would argue. She would periodically come in and do some comments here. It's been quite a while since I've seen her and wondering if she was ok or maybe blocked me for some reason.
She use to give me a rather hard time on the political forums 
I think she eventually became a member here and seem to fall in line with a lot of our post here and occasionally added some substantial comments. I'd would at least like to know if she is ok.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I had a member block me a while back and hippie chick was one of the moderators. I pmed her to ask if see knew why and she was able to messaged the person and found it was done accidentally and I was unblocked.

Hey I've just been blocked by LiterateHiker. I haven't a clue why but it sure is inconvenient because it killed her last message to me and I just have a notice of a message that I can't see.
Good luck in your search. If we are blocked I guess we are not meant to know why.

@silverotter11 Cecil Woodham-Smith's book. I'm perhaps ashamed to say that I had hardly read a book in my life before this. English was an exam I was forced through (yup, corporal punishment). But after my 16 year old exams I had a subsidiary subject leading to an exam called "Use of English" which I passed with flying colours. The reason was that book. A teacher suggested I read it and then write about it. It absolutely enthralled me at that age and I then started a blitz of reading, a blitz that has slowed down but I am never without plenty of books yet to read. Maybe a hundred at present.
