Medicare for All. Not healthcare profiteering for the few.
Two prominent candidates for the Democratic presidential nomination are not just opposing Medicare for All – they keep denouncing and distorting it.
I just couldn't take much of it. And the healthcare issue was a big part of it. The debate last night was a poor reality show with a total lack of substance. Then there was the obvious beat Trump at all cost masked behind a fake union of those on stage. No sooner said, they're at each others throats. Warren and Sanders as though the last debate never happened. I told you so just doesn't do enough justice. Sanders (no balls) refusing to, and or suppressed by the debate holders, to honestly explain the justification for socialized healthcare and how it could be paid for. Arranges himself as an easy target!
Trump, the symptom of what most on that stage have created will never speak of the real issues towards that history, or mount a systematic need for change. Just as with healthcare.
Right out of the gate last night should have been the Iowa caucus! But covering the real issues can not be tolerated. When debates are totally foreordained they become a mere propaganda tool towards conditioning.

@William_Mary I did before reading this! Greg Palast gave a shocking report.
@rogerbenham I think that is the case. If you watch the other discussion with Aaron Mate and Max Blumenthal, Max, in my opinion, correctly covers this in part. We went from what many thought would be Biden as the preferred conqueror of Sanders. Now with his failing campaign it seems the establishment is gearing towards making it Pete Buttigieg. As Max then questions his campaign if it fails, as it should as he's being exposed, he thinks they will turn to Bloomberg. They refuse to put their power behind the candidate who is polling the strongest with the American people.
Even though many people like me now see Sanders as a con artist, rather than use his 2016 experience against him, as Clinton did his voting record, rightfully so, they're more than willing to keep using him as the socialist to stop that movement. And Sanders by all rights should still be in Iowa screaming bloody foul, and from the stage last night massing his supporters. But he instead is basically speechless and going to allow them to walk over him again. It was all over his face last night. The same face I seen at the convention after he folded in 2016 when he didn't fight there as he promised.
They are perfectly just as happy with another 4 years of Trump. None of them will feel the damage we feel! as the country continues to keep moving right. Their children are not being killed in their wars. They will make back their money after the next recession or depression. Their above the laws stature will not be taken way as ours and those who speak out against them rights are. Their world will not change as many will have theirs crumble under them.
@William_Mary It is really depressing to me that I found myself agreeing with every word you wrote. Yes Bloomberg will be their candidate. Sanders will easily win the votes until they figure out how to disenfranchise his support. He is a whiner but not a fighter. He lacks the courage to stand as an independent. He is not as strong as Nader. But he gets a lot more airtime. To me he is not particularly socialist but you Americans have been brainwashed into believing that all wealth should go to the 1% because they will share it out evenly. Supreme hogwash.
