Pentagon Orders All Installations to Stop Reporting COVID-19 Infections and Deaths
The Pentagon has ordered all its commands, bases, and personnel to stop reporting statistics on COVID-19 infections and deaths in the US military, citing “operational security concerns.”
On a note to this. The Captain of the aircraft carrier USS Theodore Roosevelt was just recently fired for his scathing remarks about his concerns for his crew last week. [msn.com]
In other words. Much like sending our children off to be killed/sacrificed in wars over lies and manufactured illusions, it will also be the case within a highly deadly confined virus situation. What's it going to take!?!

If what this virus is exposing isn't enough, fuck humans!
At the rate that USA is trampling on everyone's rights and flouting local and international rules on civilised behaviour, including corruption, Uncle Sam will be lucky if he can show his face in public again for 50 years without it being spat on if not kicked.

True. I don't see that the United States has helped one country yet with COVID-19. I'm still trying to figure out the Zumwalt destroyers part and I assume the captain who was relieved of his duties really wanted medical attention for his men. The Trump Pentagon makes it sound as if he gave out some strategic information that could jeopardize a peaceful mission or something. What I see in jeopardy is the future of a man who doesn't even have the ability to read a script the same way twice. The often COVID-19 updates that have so much conflicting information are an ego outreach of Trump's weekend rallies that he cannot do right now.

Are we really even attempting to stop this virus? If you quarantine a whole state like Trump wants to do to New York, aren't you really shutting if off from receiving help? Leaving its citizens open to a wider spread. I have to wonder how Piece2YourPuzzle feels about this. On one hand he has a governor who essentially helped to create the issues his state now faces, on the other, he now faces a president who is willing to allow this virus to run its course unabated.
Trump is only there to create a distraction! You people who continually Trump everything are missing this reality. You'll never use all the pieces to this puzzle if you're constantly concentrating only on Trump!
@William_Mary I think they said if they quarantine NY that truck drivers would still be let in with supplies. I think there is enough blame to go around for how they handled this. De Blasio (our mayor) was telling people that it was fine and should go about their business as usual at the beginning, even though he saw what COVID-19 was doing in other countries. Cuomo (our governor) has been in favor of cutting Medicaid to hospitals by $400m and actually did it during COVID-19. These are just a couple of examples. None of them took this seriously early enough. Because I don't think they can be THAT stupid, it's almost like they wanted the virus to spread. Either that or they didn't want business to suffer, but they were looking at it from short term with the blinders on. The longer this thing spreads, the more it hurts business.
@Piece2YourPuzzle you're right there as an artery to Ohio. We don't call ourselves the heart of it all as a state motto for nothing. Most of what moves through this country goes through Ohio. Close off New York and everything north soon shuts down. We pretty much own the rest of the country.
@William_Mary Could it be as simple as the first wave is likely to kill most in poor areas that don't vote Republican?Misguided as a virus could not care less who it attacks but the wealthiest will be looked after best.
@rogerbenham exactly. Although voting republican has little to do with it. Now, being in a republican held area, I'll argue more so. But then again, Ohio has a republican governor with republicans holding both houses 
So where do you go with statistics?
I just seen a report this morning suggesting that the south may be looking at a bump in cases which is widely republican held. The south may be looking towards a very difficult time if this comes about.
Another article suggest the wealthy had a couple weeks jump on the rest of us. Courting themselves off to their yachts, private bunkers, and having people do their running while they isolate. Money can do that for you. A company tracking people via cell phones suggest the wealthy have for the most part began to remain isolated significantly more than the rest of the population, with fewer coming out for the workweek. Working class people during the week are significantly higher in movement. The wealthy are avoiding the population and can afford to have healthcare come to them.
Densely populated areas are of course going to bare the brunt of this virus. It's going to slowly move from one metropolitan area to another, most likely. It's there now, the numbers just aren't being reported or showing yet. Which I imagine could be the downfall of the south. Can I get a Georgia?
