CIA’s intelligence coup with William Binney
Chris Hedges talks to intelligence analyst and NSA whistleblower William Binney about the Washington Post’s revelations over the CIA and West German intelligence (BND) setting up a Swiss company, Crypto AG, to sell encrypted machines to more than 120 governments worldwide. From 1970 through to 2018, the CIA intercepted foreign government communications. Among the countries buying the machines were France, Iran, the Vatican, and Venezuela. “It was the intelligence coup of the century,” stated the CIA’s own report on the program. Russia and China did not buy the service.
William Binney sits down with Chris Hedges again to discuss a story we covered about 2 months ago. Crypto AG was discovered to actually be owned by our CIA in which they were able to know a lot more about what was going on around the world. In many cases allowing atrocities take place while standing idle. This is quite an interesting discussion.
William Binney, for those new/ish to the group, is a member of the VIPS (Veterans Intelligence Professionals for Sanity). He is a Special Envoy with the Consortium News site I use here and trust for a large amount of my post. This group of X military, X intelligence agents, intelligence analyst, and technology specialist helped to expose that the DNC hack was actually a leak being covered up in 2016.
You'll hear in this discussion how deep our surveillance state is in on us and been for some time. How the NSA captures every electronic movement on the web and can pull it up anytime they wish to use it against someone. This is further evidence that our government knew the DNC wasn't hacked but it was a leak. Knowing the transfer rate was essentially to quick to be a hack and had to be a download onto a memory device from a DNC data base source.
