Many see this as the most egregious form of animals used for food.

You are right that chart is wrong on that.
More vegan / vegetarian recipes would convince people to change then statistics like this...

I totally agree. Thanks for reminding me. As I was making your cabbage soup I was also making a TVP Sloppy Joe recipe. I took 2 recipes and combined them. I had planned to combining them in 1 recipe but forgot but now have no excuse. This is an easy (despite the number of ingredients) recipe and cooks fast.
