As a change from the troll posting about Covid, here is some seitan I made recently. Limited supplies at the edge of the empire. I find getting enough protein is difficult as a vegetarian. High protein wheat gluten is the base here with some chick pea flour. Vegan.

A great idea for consuming vegetable protein in your diet. I think I need more of this kind of food to feel good.

Your seitan looks delicious, and I know what you mean about the protein struggle. As a fellow vegan, I totally understand how difficult it can be to get enough of the good stuff in our diets. But that's where bulk protein powder comes in handy!I've recently begun to stock up on bulk protein powder. The most important is that it's a plant-based protein powder, and I add a scoop to my bakery and homemade protein bars. I also like to add a scoop of my favorite protein powder to my smoothies, baked goods, and even dishes like seitan to give them an extra boost of protein.

I used to make this all the time. So many great recipes. However, now I find I have a slight problem with gluten.
