Simple rice and beans. This time I chopped and sautéed an onion and a red bell pepper in coconut oil. Spiced with turmeric, black pepper and pink salt. On the dish red pepper flakes and a few basil leaves... the basil really took it to another level that I did not expect, a real flavor explosion, ...and I think it left Cuba. I used jasmin rice

Thanks, if I wasn’t cooking for others I might have eaten it out of the pot over the sink
@ArdentAtheist That's the great thing about being single-you cook it, eat it, store it, and reheat it all in the same dish (usually-not always).
