Apocalypse By Marco Denevi, (Argentina / 1967) Written in 1961 and published in 1967. It was during the last years of the 32nd Century when the human race fell into extinction. The manner in which this occurred is described therein: the machines had reached such a high caliber of perfection that mankind was not in need of eating, sleeping, talking, reading, thinking, or of doing anything. It was sufficient enough for them to press a button and the machines would do everything for them. Gradually, everything began to disappear: the Bibles, the works of Leonardo da Vinci, tables, chairs, roses, the recordings of Beethovenā€™s 9 th Symphony, the antique stores, the wine of Bordeaux, the swallows and orioles, the tapestries of Flanders, all of the compositions of Verdi, the Azaleas, chess, telescopes, the Palace of Versailles, the Gothic cathedrals, football stadiums, the Pieta of Michelangelo, the maps containing the ruins of Trajanā€™s Imperial For um, automobiles, rice, the Redwoods, even the Parthenon. Only the machines remained. Afterwards, mankind began to take notice that they were also progressively disappearing while the machines were increasing in numbers. It only took a matter of time for the machines to duplicate themselves. The machines eventually occupied every possible place. One could not pass or move without tripping over them. In the end, mankind was eliminated since the last one forgot to disconnect the machines. We then continued to go on functioning.

@azzow2 Magdalene Laundries in Ireland From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia The Magdalene Laundries in Ireland, also known as Magdalene asylums, were institutions of confinement, usually run by Roman Catholic orders, which operated from the 18th to the late 20th centuries. They were run ostensibly to house "fallen women", an estimated 30,000 of whom were confined in these institutions in Ireland. In 1993, a mass grave containing 155 corpses was uncovered in the convent grounds of one of the laundries. This led to media revelations about the operations of the secretive institutions. A formal state apology was issued in 2013, and a Ā£50 million compensation scheme for survivors was set up, to which the Catholic Church has refused to contribute

Then there are the marxist types pictured in the meme whose violence is to use the government to steal from everyone via taxes. And, the meme also ignores the violence ...

The problem with your statement is that although all Communists are Atheists...no all Atheists are communists. See, the fanaticism makes the difference.

DUCHESSA replies on Jun 16, 2018:
Well, I re-joined to let you know one important thing. To assume that all Latin Americans are the same culturally is as ridiculous as to think god exists. I don't care for LA music. Period. Please, don't place us all in the same bag. Thank you. I am leaving, again, this group.
This is a video I have not watched yet.

@GipsyofNewSpain, @Ciravolostone @Duchessa and any other spanish speakers. I would be really pleased if you can help me out with this post if you watch it. How could you "tagged me" in a group I wasn't in until five seconds ago? Additionally, while I don't support violence -any kind of- I don't give a damn about any / all manifestations of Socialism or Communism. So, please, don't ask me about anything that even minimally could be associated with either one. I entered this group to tell you the above. Good Bye.

Look for people who share your beliefs or, at least, is intelligent enough to respect them. These people did a favor to you because... sooner than later... you would have ended up running away from them on account of their extremely short mental work.
