Being on this site has caused me to do a lot of thinking about myself and how I feel about some critical issues in my life --- especially relationships. I was reading over one of my favorite poems -- An Autobiography in Five Short Chapters by Portia Nelson -- and had an epiphany. I think it's time to find a new street.

Do you see any relevance of this poem to patterns in your life?

(I hope this link works -- I was going to include a copy since it's short, but I couldn't preserve the format which I think is very important)

Interesting. I think I'm finally at Chapter V.

Good for you. I think I'm getting there.

Depending on what it is, I'm in all five chapters.

Chapter V. Patterns, not so much. I like finding new streets.

Yeah... Still on Chapter III, personally. But this time I broke my legs falling in, so I'm kinda' stuffed.

I seem to be in Chapter III with a few short forays into Chapter IV. (I moved to a new street and some of the holes just followed me.)

Link worked. I am walking down a new street. & I am looking for holes in order to walk around them or find a new street. The street I am on doesn't have any large holes so it is all good.

Been down that street a time or two myself. Unfortunately moving to another street didn't help, but I do get wiser as time goes on.

I need to find a new street as well. I keep falling in the hole of depression.
