My Pop, Frank Johnston, hit Utah Beach that morning trudging out of one of the first six LCVP's. Lucky for me Utah Beach was nothing compared to Omaha.

No more war.

My uncle was a combat engineer who placed bangalore torpedoes to blow paths through the barbed wire.
