Question. How do you feel about needing to put your hand on a bible in court to be sworn in? I find it offensive but no sleepless nights.

Yeah it's not required anymore since there's such a diversity of faiths and sacred books. If I were asked to, I'd say "sure, but you realize that, to me, this is the same as swearing on a Harry Potter novel?"

If I'm ever required to swear on something again, I'm swearing on Harry Potter chamber of secrets. Thanx, good call

I won't do it.
Most places don't require it anymore.
If it were required of me, I'd refuse.

Swearing and holy books.... I am definitely good with the first, but not sure what to do with the second.
