Trump's trade adviser says he's sorry for saying Canada's prime minister deserved a "special place in hell."?
Or is he just like his boss, and all the other bullies and manipulators?
So does he mean it? LLOL
"Donald Trump's trade adviser has apologized for saying Canada's prime minister deserved a "special place in hell." Peter Navarro made the mea culpa for his stunning tirade after the G7 summit in Charlevoix, Que. over the weekend. Trump and his inner circle were irked by Justin Trudeau's comments to media that Canada would not be "pushed around" by the U.S. and will respond in kind to tariffs slapped on steel and aluminum on the "insulting" grounds of national security."
I trust him as much as i trust his boss. But his behaviour, like his bosses, is to be expected when dealing with bullies, abusers, and manipulators.
I'd trade the orange moron for Trudeau any time.
I just heard his 'Apology' from his interview on FoxNews, he seems to apologize to his boss Trump for screwing up his ad hominem attack on the Canadian Prime Minister but he never actually says the words I apologize Prime Minister Trudeau or even that he is sorry except for the fact that it made him look like the unprofessional buffoon that he is. Mostly he just talks about his mission to do a hatchet job on Canada in order to set the tone for Trump's meeting with North Korea. What a pathetic joke for a diplomat.
And now Trump says he'll punish all us Canadians because Trudeau is resisting his charm. [thestar.com]
@josephr That's what a bully always says, in this case any tariffs he levies on Canada will not only be found to be unfair by the WTO but they will hurt lower class Americans who generally supported him far more than it will hurt us. Expect the cost of America automobiles and parts to go up 25% for Americans if he keeps up this stupid game of his.
@Surfpirate i'm sure; we'll all suffer to one extent or another. The only winners will be his wealthy friends and co-conspirators. Strategically, he's trying the same divisive tactics on Canadians as he uses domestically. It's the only way he knows. We have politicians just like him up here.
@josephr I'm in Ontario and Doug Ford just got elected as Premier, same bullshit rhetoric as Trump. The few will get wealthier and everybody else will get poorer. Why do people fall for this sort of con? Beats me but lately they seem to fall for it a lot.
@Surfpirate I was shocked when i heard the results. Wynne must have been so hated. Sad times. And difficult ones for those in poverty and the middle class financially. But his friends will be rewarded as you say. The "grass is always greener syndrome" is devastating in politics.
