I have until next may to find a new place to live.

I'm struggling so much. One, I just simply do not make enough to live on, despite my two jobs. My rent is 400 and it includes phone and cable and Internet and car insurance. I can't find anywhere for less than 500 without utilities.

My other concern besides income is my ability to take care of myself. Before my accident I used to be able to work on my feet 10 hours straight, come home, do chores and cook and go for a walk. AND now I can't even do anything after work at my desk job. I'm scared of living alone just because I know what my limitations are. I could get a roommate but finding one that would care for me is difficult.

I don't know what to do, really. I'm very disheartened.

I would LOVE to live on my own again. I just...don't know that I can.

Around here it's hard to find anything below $900 / month without utilities. I wish you luck.

My job doesn't pay much either, even with forced overtime.

I hope all works out well for you. You have some time......have you thought about applying for low income housing? I know it can be a long wait, but it might be worth looking in to now. Best of luck to you.

It's an excessive challenge because I have a cat

What else can I say but hugs

Sounds like you need supported housing of some sort? Unless rent is way way cheaper where you are?

Hang in there - you're really going through some trials lately.

Yeah, it's almost like there's some supernatural force that has it out for me lololol

Can you rop the cable? It’s not a solution, but it could help.

Rop? I mean I don't need cable at all. Never use it, really.

@LadyAlyxandrea oops, ‘drop’ the cable. It sounds like you can.

@indirect76 well I don't pay for it so

@LadyAlyxandrea oh, my dumb ass misread your post. You have all that stuff included in your rent.

@indirect76 yeah its okay I could see the confusion
