If it was proven (somehow through science, obviously) that either Christianity or Buddism was the 'real deal'. Which one would you choose?

Well if Either one or the other it would be logical that you choose the one that was proven. Which would I want to be true? I don't know enough about Buddism to really say definitively if it's better or not and there are so many 'interpretations' of Christianity that is is hard to know what the implications would be. That said I would go for Buddism I don't like the idea of hell or the old testament god.

That is the funny thing about science, it is either real or not. You do not get to choose which one you WANT to be real...lol

Buddhist philosophy is OK, but the religious side is nonsense. Some Christian morals are amoral. I choose Buddhist philosophy and ethics.

That would be a lot of physics violated for Christianity to be proven 'the real deal', I can't even think about it.

no religion for me. it’s all about power and control. i don’t think we need to follow rules put down for us and then be told we are sinners. .....and then go to church and bring money. ...and then be made to feel guilty. i think we just need to follow the golden rule. Life is beautiful...religion just pollutes life.

Um... I'd choose the "one that's the real deal".

Even if Christianity were proven to be true in so far as it was all real and accurate in its tenets it would make it no less disgusting and evil and I could not in good conscience subscribe to it.
I'm not sure how you would prove Buddhism was the 'real deal', since it is largely an ideology, with a few aspects and elements that do have a few supernatural elements, but they are in no way at its core.

buddhism because it IS the real deal

How so?

Definitely Buddhism, since it doesn't require belief.

I like Thai Buddhism, but I would never obey any religious rules myself.

Buddhism. Gawd Yawnweh is an asshole and Jeebus was a drama queen.

They both are superstition. Why not include witchcraft and paganism?
