Sitting in an air-conditioned movie theater. Yeah, I don't do summer very well.

Partner dancing outside, it is so nice and fun to be moving to music with other people outside in the sun or moonlight!

Foxtrot is so damn fun, but so is the waltz— what are your favorites?

@ScientistV it's been so long since I've done foxtrot! My favorites are waltz, Swing, and bachata! I still like the other latin dances too! Which is your favorite?

@BallroomForLife waltz, which swing? East Coast or West Coast? Tango is also fun but I -love- waltzes, every kind I can get a chance to practice!

@ScientistV awesome! East coast. Tango is fun. Yes, my dance friends help me practice if we find time!

Kayaking or Knife Throwing

Why not throwing knives WHILE kayaking, slacker!

@ScientistV hahaha, yea, not too many floating log rounds where I paddle. hahah

@MarcusMethod excuses, excuses.

@MarcusMethod as a Canadian, I’d think you’re kept by a moose that could easily carry such things on your outings AND that said logs could dispense maple syrup as a reward for each successful strike.

@ScientistV bahahahaha! I think you may have something there! ??

Boating with my family. Everyone enjoys it and it is a family affair.

Survival! It is incredibly hot and humid down here!

Tennis. Watching and playing.

Singles or doubles or yes?

@ScientistV Either one. Even if I can't find playing partners, I love to just hit against a wall for a good hour or so. It's wonderful exercise.

Watching the water in the pool undisturbed.

Water parks are pretty fun when it's 100+ degrees outside...

3

Back when I could afford it, vacationing at Disney or Hawaii. Now I just play in my pool. LOL!

Swimming if I could just find a pool that is not public. You can't swim with kids playing games.

I love to travel, beaches or mountains and camping to relax... I need to head up to the OBX soon and catch the annual bioluminescence.

And when is this bio luminessence

I like to travel too. Is the bioluminescence the lightning bug event. I know there is one in the Smokies.

@Bigwavedave July-August

@Mom-goddess no... That’s a form of it, but from NC to Puerto Rico, -undisturbed- beaches from July to August have phytoplankton that emit light when jostled on dark nights, it looks like a galaxy in the water when you run your fingers through the wading waters.

Jogging and swimming, but actually swimming is my favourite all seasons activity. I do sport for my psychic health and be in shape. I love too trips with boats. And your activity?

Moaning about the heat and telling everyone I can't wait for winter.

Jnei Level 8 June 24, 2018

I second this

#same

@ScientistV Often, when I hear someone droning on about what a lovely summer it is, I ask them exactly what it is they think is so lovely about it. It's surprising how many people realise that they're not actually very keen on it after all!

@Jnei so I went on a cruise— to Canada because fuck hot weather— it was the first heatwave my area got that very weekend. People kept asking if I was ready for the 100 degree heat and my response was, “yep, cuz my ass will be in Canada.”

@ScientistV I'm seriously considering telling work to stuff it and heading up to the far north of Norway this week - it was hot today and it's supposed to get hotter!

#florida.
Lol
