I can't honestly say I believe in soul mates, but I did marry a great friend. 53 years we share, explored, experienced life separately and together. and when she died, it was if I lost something which can never be replaced...i have dated a number of women and nothing, i will keep trying, but once you have tasted a deep, deep love, nothing will ever measure up to that first taste of love.

I loved women that were not the best thing for me. And did not loved some that were. I separate best thing to me and love. Maybe that's been my all time highest mistake but I do not regret my choices. Then again... I can write lyrics like "I never loved you until I saw you in the rain". So... me and love are not only buddies but also work and pleasure partners. I know, I can be such an asshole!
