He just told me an Atheist can't have morals because morals come from god. Like not believing in god makes me less of a human being than him...

Morals have nothing to do with religion. I'm an Atheist and I don't steal, I wouldn't bang a married woman, I wouldn't punch someone in the face just because I didn't like them etc. Right and wrong are not tied to religion.

The first question to answer here is "which god do morals come from?" The answer is always the god that the believer believes in. This poses a paradox.

It has always been my opinion that belief is not necessary for the development of a conscience.

Ask him why most prisoners are theists.

A common, and oh so incorrect misconception.

Try to appreciate that he has been programmed to believe this since he was a little kid. It's perfectly all right to do immoral and unethical things to an Atheist for many Religitards because the Bible tells them so. He's probably way more trouble than he is worth but you may have to put yourself through that wringer before you believe it, just have the First Aid kit handy because you're probably going to need it if you stick with this guy.

Dump City Baby, sounds like there's no fixing it from that statement, it shows thinly veiled contempt.

Morals are parenting issues and some might be hereditary 4 kids 2 fathers 2 very moral 2 i can't make stop stealing and lying

Dump him. I'm pretty tolerant, but this primitive damning troglodyte is to be avoided. Bad for the soul. I think "soul" is what makes us sentient, caring human creatures.
