Finally saw Gas Light yesterday. Not too bad. Wish they would remake it.

There are actually two versions of this film. There's the better-known one from 1944 with Ingrid Bergman, but an earlier version was made in 1940 in England, which supposedly adheres more to the original play.

I barely remember it but I have watched it.

I shared this with my favorite narcissist. By the end of the movie he wasn't feeling too good about himself. But what really upset him is when I made him watch some episodes of Shameless. He got upset when Frank lied to the transplant people that his girlfriend didn't need a heart transplant anymore. He says he draws the line at flat out murder. I hadn't realized he was identifying so strongly with that character until he quit watching the series after that episode. So maybe Shameless (American version) is the new Gaslight?
