Another 4th of July, another day to rationalize gluttony and blowing shit up. If Americans had that much passion about the direction in which this country is going, instead of bending over like a two dollar hooker every four years and letting politicians and corporations fuck us, we might get back on the right road and truly become a 'great nation'.

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I always feel that most holidays anymore are devoted to drinking/drugging, becoming as obnoxious as possible, and making as much noise as possible, all whilst waving a flag and muttering vague catchphrases about freedom. And drunkenly discharging firearms in the neighborhood while pretending it was only a firecracker. If there's any pigging out it usually takes a back seat to this stuff.
