Does anyone else love their pet fish?

I just think they're so adorable.

When I tap on the roof gently n sing the 'fishy food' song, they all swim to the top with excitement and bob around the surface.

I don't feel guilty when I eat fish n chips, because those big fish would probably eat my little chaps.

I would consider a cat or even a girlfriend but I just don't have the space/time (not 'Spacetime'😉

Stoned...

Had a pike cichlid that would go to the top of the tank to be petted and an anaconda eel that would tug of war over nightcrawlers. Those fish were awesome!

I loved my betta Viggo. He was more like a dog than a fish. He was always so happy when I was around. He had anxiety and was a tail biter. He needed everything to stay the same so I tried to put everything exactly as it was when I cleaned his tank decor. He hated me being away. I left the TV on when I left the house. I had to leave a light on in the hallway because he hated total darkness at night.

After Viggo passed away I got another betta. Vaako really hated me. He was probably the angriest betta I know. But I loved him anyway. He was quite a character.

Years ago I had a betta named Charlie who actually liked for me to pet him. He'd come to the surface if I said his name and would swim under my fingertips, so that they would lightly touch the top of his body. He was pretty cool, and the only fish I ever named.

Hey mate! I really think you'll be OK someday with proper therapy. If not, well....enjoy your fishies.

Hahaha. Tried that shit mate. Then I realised life is good.

Hi, Adz,

Yeah, I always loved my fish whenever I had any.

The fancy comet and fan-tailed goldfish would tap on the aquarium glass, or splash water at me when they wanted food, and if they saw me start to pick up the box of fish food, they'd all go nuts thrashing around and leaping out of the water.

By the way, if you answer the profile questions and write your profile, you'll earn website points, and members can get to know you. Commenting on posts and writing your own earns more points. At level two you can private message people, and at level eight you get an agnostic T-shirt.

The website uses profile algorithms to find member matches, so the more details one includes, the better the match.

Many women prefer to see a written profile talking about interests, hobbies, and backgrounds that can be quickly perused to find compatible partners.

In case you didn't know yet, to find members near you, click on the "Browse" button at the top of the page, then on "Members," and enter your preferred search parameters.
Click on the "Discuss" button, then "Nearby" to find members near you also.
Or click on the "About" button at the top left of the page to find links to FAQ or the website tutorial.

Are you an AI??

@adz No, it just baffles me that people would join a dating website without looking up the FAQ and filling out a profile. Women usually do, but since men tend to choose women through photos, they often don't seem to think of it.

Women usually prefer to know who they are talking to..their safety depends on it.

Just to be clear, I'm not talking about banging any fish or cats.
