I need to complain about my job a bit. I just got a text from my boss that "due to system outages" I'm only getting half my paycheck today and the other half on Monday. I work for a giant international corporation...so this is some bullshit! I fail to see why they can't pay me for the 40 hours they know I was scheduled for last week and adjust it later if they over pay me. This is the 3rd time in the 7 months I have worked there that they have screwed up something with our pay. So frustrating!

Feel free to reply to any comment by clicking the "Reply" button.I would post an anonymous review on an employment website such as 'glassdoor' or another site to warn people.
I would then consider joining a union but researching which one is best first. Some unions are rubbish and some are good.
Negative reviews will not help the company that you work for.

It's not a mistake it is simple economics.
I,000,000 employees don't get half their pay for 4 days, that money sits in the bank for 4 days has 4 days interest added to the capital.
Do this once every two month can increase profitability by 10% per annum.
Another trick is to apply late payment charges to every customer, 50 percent notice and have their fee refunded but the company garners the interest, 50% don't notice and pay anyway, win win situation.

It is the legacy of the Thatcher/Reagan Monetarist era, when you allow companies to become to big to be allowed to fail, you end up with a society where the banks and corporations call the shots.
You broke the law..... So what?
You didn't pay your taxes..... and?
You defrauded your customers and employees.... I know, good init 
We'll shut you down!... no you won't because that will put a million people out of work and fuck up the economy.

@Lookin4love Over a certain size no company is any nationality now, they are all multinational, and you can bet that if a sharp practice is not illegal in one nation they will do it there, if it is illegal, they will do it until they get caught.
