There was a street preacher spreading the word in my hood yesterday and he quoted that god and Jesus loves the Dallas Cowboys and that we should too if we want to get into heaven. he is doing this in Eagles Nation. Does anyone here know the implications of that? It's a very powerful rivalry along with an idiotic thought. It was on a very bust street and I'm surprised no one threw anything at him. A few yelled at him to go home. It was funny. I wanted to debate with him about it but was waiting for a bus and I wasn't alone so I had to refrain. Crazy, eh?

By "Eagle's Nation," I'm assuming you mean Philly? Anyway, recent musings on this and other publicly espoused promulgations and ramblings, have led me to recall the wonderful, well-thought out expression, "Opinions are like assholes; everybody has one, and they all stink." Just because some random mouth spews an utterance, it doesnt mean a response is either warranted, or required.

I can never understand why a deity would give the slightest shit over a sport, much less pick a side.

As a lifelong eagles' fan, I definitely understand the implications. The Cowboys are that one team that fans of every other team hate, but a lot Philly fans take it to the extreme. I'm surprised that Reverend Dumbfuck didn't end his day in the ER.

He needs to preach to Dallas Cowboy fans in Texas.
