It's the new "family values" of the republican party... or actually their real "family values" coming to light.

We need to have more politicians like Mr Inslee, who show compassion and empathy, instead of the ideologues of the right!

These are human lives they are playing with so despicably, creating mental health issues in thousands of kids and family members going forward, besides this new system costing at least as much as a damn wall. The children are being made to be human pawns and bargaining chips. Ripping children from parents and placing them in foster homes ("or whatever" to quote John Kelly) is NOT re-unification. Glad governors and state representatives are taking a stand against this.
