Any Muslims in this country that believe in Sharia law and who are against separation of church and state should be run out of the USA, which is most of them. They use mosques to promote jihad. They do not assimilate into our culture. The form groups and neighborhoods and camps. Look how Muslim immigration has almost ruined Europe. I know some Muslims are just good ordinary citizens and some are our soldiers but you and I cannot tell the difference. I think Muslims believe that lying to apostates is OK as long as it is done to further Islam.Islam is a bad idea. Nothing good can come out of Islam. The Christian Bible has verses that call for killing apostates as well as the Koran, but you don't see Christians cutting heads off because others won't convert. Don't forget 9/11. Muslims will lull this country asleep while taking it over in the name of Allah.
If we goota have religion, it would be better if most of it were pagan. Then religions wouldn't think they are so special. People could borrow each other's Gods from time to time and not take their religion so serious. To me, it is silly to think that the God of the universe writes books from time to time (from Sam Harris). What is so special about these crappy books?

Blasphemy laws are the antithesis of free-speech. And, yes was aware. The surfaced recently as J.Coyne (Why Evolution is True) is finding parts of this website banned from Pakistan. The worst part there - it isn't Pakistan that is blocking him, but his website host (WordPress) who is doing the "dirty work" for them.

Ireland has blasphemy laws. There's a referendum to abolish them due for this fall. Countries where Catholicism held sway often had such laws. I think Ireland is the last holdout, but not sure.

Isn't that just one of the basic Sharia laws? Saudi Arabia, Aceh Province in Indonesia, Malaysia, Iran, etc., etc. Islam is an epidemic of pure evil.

Yes I did know, all of the Indian sub-continent has some dodgy laws through religion (both Islam and Hinduism)!

It's a sign of insecurity of belief, the need to kill anyone who tells a fake God to f--- off. All these "God"s are thick though - anything that might be the most powerful being in existence can't possibly know that it is such a being and that there isn't a more powerful one watching over it and waiting to apply real justice. A clear sign of a fake God is a thick God which asserts an authority that it cannot know it has.

Many majority Muslim nation's have similar laws. Islam is way past due for its own Enlightenment.

Blasphemy laws exist in Ireland Scotland and new Zealand aswell as a lot and Islamic countries

Apostasy is punishable by death as well.
