Admin added some of those emoji things so if a member wants to describe how they feel about a particular post or comment they could. I don't use them much, nor do I care about points. Some on here are focused on points, probably best to ignore folks like that.

I'm almost maxed out. I "like" to help others gain points. Some people value likes and people who help others, lol but that's just me.

Like are how people get points. Can't change whole format. Admn owns the site.

I like the hell out of everything. Not for the points, but because I am supporting the people who comment with ideas or opinions similar to mine without having to repeat it all myself. I think it is a quick acknowledgment in an age when instant feedback is better than none. I like to comment on a lot of things as well...I think giving people options engages more people than to narrowly force them into a "box".
