Trump Got From NATO Everything Obama Ever Asked For
[nytimes.com] - Now that the smoke has cleared from the NATO summit meeting, the most tangible result is apparent: President Trump advanced President Barack Obama’s initiative to keep the allies on track to shoulder a more equitable share of NATO’s costs. Mr. Trump even signed on to a tough statement directed at Russia. For once he saw eye to eye with his predecessor.
Trump getting it done!
The problem with such things as this is that many assume America is paying for some of the others in NATO who are not paying their share. This is not so, and is heresay at best.
The NATO Allies have had enough of trying to talk some sense into the Orange Buffoon that currently inhabits the US White House so instead of trying to work out a deal with him they just let him have his victory lap, nodded when he made his pompous and insulting statements and then went back to business as usual. If you think that the NATO Allies are going to ramp up to 2% in the next few years and ultimately 4% in the next decade in order to support American Wars of Aggression then you are as delusional as Trump is.
You need to concentrate on getting rid of that liberal idiot Trudeau and don’t worry about Trump as he’s a damn sight better than Obama and will be around till 2024.
@Trajan61 Get back to me on that with a revision in one year's time after The Trumpster has put your economy in the dumpster,.
@Surfpirate The economy’s doing better under Trump than it was under Obama who was a regulation nut job who seemed intent on destroying the economy with his idiotic regulations. So what in the hell are you talking about? In Canada you don’t even have the right to carry a handgun for self defense. Here in the US you do.
@Trajan61 That's the thing with a civilized society, you don't need to carry a handgun for self defense. Trump inherited a recovering economy and now that the honeymoon period is over and his tax gifts to the rich are no longer producing any stimulus to the economy he has started a trade war that will hurt all economies but mostly the US economy, the next step can only be another war to try to stimulate the economy - That's what the hell I am talking about.
@Surfpirate It's Saturday now and I am looking at huge crowds protesting in London around the "Trump Baby" blimp. It looks like the Trump inauguration all over again. Next, he goes to Scotland where he has a golf course and huge crowds waiting to protest him there. Apparently his supporters just don't get it that most of the world does not like this man. I know. Let's blame Hillary and Obama!
@Surfpirate With all the wilderness you have in Canada your telling me it wouldn’t be nice to have a 357 magnum to protect yourself from a wild animal. You are truly a liberal idiot and you need to worry about Canadian politicians and laws not those in the US.
@Trajan61 Canadians carry rifles when we go into the wilderness as any smart woodsman would know because a handgun is of limited use in the woods, they're really only good for hunting humans in an urban setting. Canada and the rest of the world would be quite happy to ignore the dumpster fire that is America these days but your Orange Ogre just can't seem to stop himself from sticking his nose into everybody else's business. It's like having a village idiot loose at any of the international meetings like the G7, NATO, WHO, WTO, etc. etc. Do the rest of the world a favour and have your monkey stay in the White House where he can sling his shit at the walls for all we care but keep him away from the civilized world because he clearly isn't house trainable..
@Surfpirate A 357 magnum pistol I’d fully capable of stopping a bear or another wild animal and would be a lot more convenient to carry but with the idiotic gun laws you have in Canada you are forbidden to carry one. In the US I can carry a loaded pistol for self defense in 38 states. In Canada you don’t even have the right to carry a loaded firearm for self defense. I’ll take the US any day.
@Trajan61 There are pistols in Canada and they are completely legal, they just aren't very popular because as a tool they are pretty limited, for a small man who wants to feel big about himself they seem to have a certain appeal but otherwise not so much. Canada would be more accommodating of Americans and their security blanket handguns when they cross the border if they would just implement reasonable firearms screening and training but since any idiot can get a gun in the US and any idiot can pull a trigger, Canada is forced to restrict American guns on our sovereign territory. Why not just be a man about it if you feel the need to get physical and use your fists to sort things out if it comes to that? These peckerwoods that only feel brave when they have a pistol in their pocket to compensate for their weak manhood are a bit tiresome and cowardly. Please stay home, we really don't need or want your kind on our side of the border. Build a wall if you need something to occupy your time, btw we have planes so we'll just fly over it.
@Surfpirate If it weren’t for the US you’d probably be speaking Russian if you were still alive.
@Trajan61 Thanks for letting Canada be the nuclear no mans land in the event of a nuclear war between the world's most idiotic super powers, we really appreciate it. lol The Russians have never attacked Canada but the US has done so several times and lost each and every time. Look it's been fun but it is Saturday morning and I don't want to keep you from watching your cartoons.
