I'm still reeling from Tom Cruise buying the film rights to the Jack Reacher Series and playing the lead role. Jack Reacher in the novels is 6'5" tall with size 13 Brogues on his feet for kicking down doors and kicking in heads - Tiny Tom just doesn't cut it.
@Surfpirate I know, I am an avid Lee Child/ Jack Reacher fan and rolled around laughing at 5ft 6 Cruise playing him. The whole point of Reacher being able to take on 6 at a time is his size!
@Marionville Glad to see someone else noticed that. Also, Dean Martin is not Matt Helm.
