Honestly, How many people look at the photos, instead of reading the bio? Is photos important to you? How many photos is too much?
And do you pay attention when a new photo is up on the profile?

Both my husbands happened to be tall and good-looking (never one of my criteria!). And both were total losers...#1 violent abuser, #2 polite, quiet, Majorly good liar/sneaky philanderer.
Send me somebody who looks like Rumpelstiltskin, makes me laugh, like to dance, and I will be Thrilled!

I look at the entire profile. The photos in my opinion just put a face to the story.

No idea.
Nope.
Depends on what they are photos of. If it's just you (selfies), I think 2 or 3 are plenty.
Nope.

I'm less likely to respond to someone without a few pictures, even if their bio is good. I do read bios, but without a couple pictures I often wonder what their hiding and it doesn't feel like I'm talking to a person. I like to have a face to the conversation, because otherwise it's like talking to a wall that happens to talk back.

Both. I think something in a photo catches the eye...same time zone... appropriate age...tell me more?

I do both. I am new and still figuring it all out. I do think pics catch your eye, no picture and so might not look at the bio.

I look at it all. A pretty face only gets you so far. There's gotta be some compatibility.

I look at photos and read bios, but their comments are more interesting to me. Photos and bios can give you a general overview, but how they respond and interact with people is more showing of their character and views in my opinion.

Both. I place a lot of importance on the bio. First, how is it written: poor writing = poor thinking. Then, what do they say? Are they interesting? Have something to say beyond boilerplate?

I read bios constantly....and look at all the pics....and read the answers to the questions (if answered).
The lack of information in bios -- in general -- is alarming.
Photos are important....and I think, at a minimum, people should upload at least 6.

After 2 tall good-looking dickhead husbands, you can look like Rumpelstiltskin as long as you make me laugh & like to dance!

I'm only here for the community, but I read bios. If they're really long, I may only skim.
I look at pictures too, but I'm not sure I would know if more pictures were added or not.|
I've uploaded more than a few, and I might add more at some point.
I think we are a visual animal - some more so than others, maybe.

Meh, I used to be a photo "nazi" but now I just upload what I want, when I want, & switch them out occasionally. I also check profiles I follow when noticing a new profile pic.

Both. They both provide information. It is nice to be able to put a face on the idea or thought. 100 pics would probably be overkill. Sometimes l might notice a new pic.

Photos and bio, both. Not sure what's too many. I have noticed the ones I'm following when the main pick changes. Not new uploads.

I will be honest. I look at the photos, then possibly the bio.
