Honestly, How many people look at the photos, instead of reading the bio? Is photos important to you? How many photos is too much?
And do you pay attention when a new photo is up on the profile?
Both my husbands happened to be tall and good-looking (never one of my criteria!). And both were total losers...#1 violent abuser, #2 polite, quiet, Majorly good liar/sneaky philanderer.
Send me somebody who looks like Rumpelstiltskin, makes me laugh, like to dance, and I will be Thrilled!
I'm less likely to respond to someone without a few pictures, even if their bio is good. I do read bios, but without a couple pictures I often wonder what their hiding and it doesn't feel like I'm talking to a person. I like to have a face to the conversation, because otherwise it's like talking to a wall that happens to talk back.
Both. I place a lot of importance on the bio. First, how is it written: poor writing = poor thinking. Then, what do they say? Are they interesting? Have something to say beyond boilerplate?
I read bios constantly....and look at all the pics....and read the answers to the questions (if answered).
The lack of information in bios -- in general -- is alarming.
Photos are important....and I think, at a minimum, people should upload at least 6.
After 2 tall good-looking dickhead husbands, you can look like Rumpelstiltskin as long as you make me laugh & like to dance!
I'm only here for the community, but I read bios. If they're really long, I may only skim.
I look at pictures too, but I'm not sure I would know if more pictures were added or not.|
I've uploaded more than a few, and I might add more at some point.
I think we are a visual animal - some more so than others, maybe.
I will be honest. I look at the photos, then possibly the bio.
