I have returned from the Oregon Country Fair. It was wonderful! My granddaughter and her boyfriend and I had a great time with excellent food, entertainment and a lot of happy people!

This fair had no rides. It did have jugglers, acrobats, bands, vuadeville acts, giant puppets and a lot of different food.
I used to attend all the local fairs, and when I lived in Kentucky I attended most of the Kentucky State fairs, in Louisville. I LOVE them..

This is very different from state or county fairs. There are a lot of fun and unusual events going on and the food is quite different.
@Enchanter Both in the US (I have lived in many states) and here in Thailand, I attended anything that looks like a festival. Luckily, here in Thailand, there are many of them!
