How many of you have synesthesia? Not talking how you can taste how much you hate an elected official. The true synesthesia drinking in the sky in your mind's eye, smelling music, hearing a sunset, touching a conversation.

I wish I had the form where you see music as colors. Short of going blind that seems like the other main way to develop superpowers as a musician. I met a mean sax player in college with it.

I don't have it.
But i do wonder what it would be like, would it be something beautiful, or something really frightening?

Think if you have if for a long time it is just a common occurrence to you. If it is a sudden onset thing would throw up all kinds of medical concerns.

I have it. I see letters, numbers, and dates as as landscapes and color shades. For instance, 2 and 7 are the darkest, 5 is medium dark, 4 and 8 are medium, 3 and 9 are medium light, and 0, 1, and 6 are light. I have no idea why or when it started.

It sounds like a beautiful way to live. What does music smell like?

Cinnamon baked goods.
