Hello Everyone,
I just want raise a flag of warning. I have seen some posts here that I suspect came from Russian trolls. They seemed to have a pretty good command of the English language but there were some telltale flaws. Also, in the swirl following Trump's Helsinki trip, there was this persistence in arguing that Russia either did not meddle in the 2016 election or that Americans have no right to complain since our country has so many times trampled upon the sovereignty of other nations. They seemed incapable of appreciating that many Americans were/are opposed to such American interventionism and that, as law-abiding citizens, we see the free press and fair elections as our only reasonable immediate recourse to redress or forestall such wrongs. In short, these trolls were suggesting that we just roll over and let them penetrate us in our nether region -- in other words, to follow our President's example. How little these foreign operatives understand us! I suspect that they don't really get us because they do not have our tradition of free thought and free speech, of open protest and political action. They seem to think that we are pushovers; that it will be easy to topple us. Boy, are they ever mistaken! Anyway shipmates, keep a weather eye on the horizon. There be pirates in these waters!
