This is a courtesy reminder to all members. I remember at one time in the past the closest member to a grand wizard we have @Phxbillcee once pointed out that he was robbed of many points because members would enjoy his posts, participate and comment without leaving any likes. (even though he would them for participating). That comment had an effect on my behaviour in this website.

I have taken the practice that if I read a post, I mark it (like it). If I read a comment and like it, I mark it and if I make a post and you participate I will mark the participants even if I disagree. I seldom do not mark comments but it has happened.

As the only other Level 9 member I always try to give points when appropriate. Points are there to protect us from scammers. Believe me when I say I've had several here. I do set goals for myself with points. I am retired and disabled. Many of my posts reflect my political advocacy and civil rights/inclusion views.

nope, you become less and less probable to being a troll as you gain more and more respect by your peers. Such is the game of life.

@Lukian It is stupid. But the site is free, I can vent my frustration, & enjoy myself mostly.

I guess I just never was concerned about the points. I do it out of courtesy, to acknowledge the other person. Just sayin'.
