Atheism is a product of unrestrained critical-thinking.
Humanism is a product of unrestrained compassion.
Do you agree?
Agree with Humanism being about compassion. More believers reach a point when they question their beliefs.
That'd be over-simplifying them both for me. Yes, my agnostic status is a result of critical thinking (as a subservient part of applying solid skepticism), but also of learning and compassion, too. And I find my humanist inklings have a lot to do with with thinking through my moral beliefs, and part of that thought process requires compassion, love, and hope as several of the essential ingredients in my life-stance.
