What do you think of Lawrence Krauss recent implication in awkward or insistent or forceful sexual advances on what appears to be a large amount of women? Do you think it damages atheists/agnostics? Do you think we (Atheists) are more likely to have inferior moral standards or the opposite? Do you believe the allegations? Or just share whatever you think on the issue.

It certainly damages Dr. Krauss, whom I have met and have respect for, but if a left-handed person was accused of similar activities would it damage all left-handers?

I will also say this, I have seen Dr. Krauss in numerous social/group situations and have never seen him behave as described. Which doesn't mean a thing except I am not qualified to comment on his guilt/innocence.

Many atheist scientists and philosophers are nerds and awkward around women, so less likely to be groping them.
Perhaps Krauss' popularity made more sci-fi fan girls available to him than others of his ilk. But, yeah..with over 50 allegations of sexual misconduct over many years, I'd say Krauss is VERY guilty.

Nothing to do with being an Atherist/agnostic but a despicable human being. He is just another man who is misusing his station in life for his own deviant wants.

Krauss is a Bright same as the Dawk and others.

I would say that men who impose themselves sexually on women come from all walks of life and all creeds and ideologies. I'm sad that someone has let the side down like this, but it's inevitable in a percentage of men. I hope that over the decades to come that men will not feel quite so entitled to women's bodies in the absence of consent as has been the case for pretty much all of human history. 😟

I have never met him but I have read some of his research and while I was still living in Akron, I was going to watch one of his talks at Case Western Reserve University but a family thing caused me to not be able to go. I have also watched some of his atheist talks on YouTube. He has also given an apology statement. So, ultimately, I still don't know how to take the implications.

Don't know the guy, anything about his beliefs or how they might be connected with his sexual nature. Whether you're a pig or not has nothing to do with your religious leanings. For all I know, I have higher moral standards because I'm NOT religious.

A pig is a pig. as mentioned above. It matters not a whit whether he believes in the Great Bozo Bossman in the sky or not.

I can't think of any organization that promotes pedophilia more than the Catholic Church and mistreatment of women is institutionalized in Islam and Christianity

I’ve been wondering about morals because growing up it was basically the 10 commandments that were fed to me. So my morals kinda came from that.
