Most Legal Actions Are Not Pro-Diversity in USA and the World. Look at our Sad World History
What is it with this current obsession with diversity? Diversity tends to be the result of freedom and fairness, but enforcing diversity results in less freedom and fairness. Diversity is a result, not a cause. And you make no argument considering diversity, anyway. Your argument concerns legality, which is a very different thing.
Yeah, I get tired of the "this isn't us" and "we're better than this" rhetoric in reaction to, e.g., Trumpism. Well ... we elected that fucker, so maybe that IS us now. Maybe we aren't any better than that. If enough people don't vote this November (and by now, enough to overcome the ongoing Russian election influence) then it will CONTINUE to be us.
Also, since we used to condone slavery, and Jim Crow, and still engage in mass incarceration and are timid about eradicating poverty and other systemic issues ... maybe we never WERE better than this ... rather, we were making some modest progress on being less hateful and self-absorbed, eh?
I plan to be a damned rebel for the rest of my natural life.
