I actually drink more water than coffee but that's not "of choice" in the same way that coffee is. I drink water purely to quench thirst, though if I had my actual preference it would probably have been my former poisons of choice, Dr Pepper for quenching raw thirst and whole milk for general purposes.

It's fair to say that 100% of my fluid intake is now water, coffee (artificially sweetened), and the half and half I put into my coffee. In fact replacing milk and sodas with water back around the turn of this century was single handedly responsible for me losing 60 pounds. Modest exercise contributed another 20 or so. These days, I'm attempting to remove a final 20 pounds by upping my exercise game.

Ive stopped drinking sodas on the regular too, think ive only had three or four in the last two months. Keep it up!

Soda, yeah I'm probably going to die early?

Caffeine. Any kind. Coffee, tea, soda, all good. Though my relationship with coffee is a difficult one. If my narcolepsy meds are working, I can get away with having mild caffeine. If not, it's coffee all day, especially if I have important things to do.

I drink coffee or water with an occasional diet Dr Pepper

Water, and if I feel like treating myself then I'll add some lime juice to it 🙂

Call me a short-term camel. There is never enough water.

I love water, iced preferably. I love your description, short term camel.

I love ice cold water, drink it all day long.

@Belrieve the important thing is you are drinking water. It makes your skin look younger and is just generally good for you all over. You'll appreciate the younger part in about 25 years.

@Belrieve I didn't get into a soda habit because of the carbonation. I can't drink anything carbonated and never have been able to. It has been the last 15 or so years that the research has come out about the dangers of soda, which makes me thankful I didn't drink it. My younger sisters have quite a soda habit, and both look older than I do. For me it is a win-win. It also means I don't drink beer, some wines, champagne, and anything sparkling. Water was hard to get in German when I lived there in 1985 to 1988. I'd usually ask for Apfelsaft, or Apple Juice. One place had only sparkling apple juice. Grrrr.

I don't start drinking Mt. Dew. until 11 a.m. and stop at 8 p.m. I prefer to wake up naturally.

I don't do caffeine first thing in the morning anymore. When I get the mid-afternoon slump I often have a Pepsi over ice, sometimes with a double shot of Kraken Black Spiced Rum.

Me either. I stick to water in the morning. Dt. Dr. Pepper at lunch.
