LOL! Just a bit of trolling! The red lines in the background are from a picture that depicts all the contradictions in the Bible.

Here's another picture for context.

Yes, I know. He spread out his arms and said "I love you this much." I imagine it was hard to find a real reason for his death so they came up with this. Previously your "sins" could all be put upon a goat who was driven into the wilderness. We know we all have sin because the perfect god used incest to get us all here. It was in his plan. If Jesus was in a different era his followers might have necklaces of electric chairs or injection tables today. Imagine these emblems on graves or a church steeple. How would you make the sign of the electric chair? Do you think Jesus would ever want to see another cross? It all makes perfect sense.

A Jewish person might remember better but I think goats and cloven hoofed animals were prohibited as sacrifice. It was usually a lamb or if you were poor, you’d catch two turtle doves to offer. And they wish they got driven into the wilderness or set free; thats no sacrifice. Might be a few other options I forgot but they’d slit the animal’s throat and burn the animal on an altar, couldn’t eat the meat or use it for anything useful. This is the god that thinks idolatry is too disrespectful. He asked us for all this ritual death bullshit. ?‍♂️

@Wurlitzer Much correct without looking it up in the OT because this isn't Sunday School. As far as a sacrifice goes, Jesus only had a bad weekend. He knew the outcome and so did god. It's kind of like being in the National Guard. 🙂
