Hi everyone! 1st week on new job went well. Had to go out of town twice to a clients office. I was thinking of moving closer to work but man it would be so expensive! I don't want to spend my extra income on that, plus I really don't want to live in the city. There were 17 shootings just last week! I think I will move 1 town closer but NOT to KCMO. Finally like my job!

I think you may be underestimating how much money commuting costs, and undervaluing your time spent commuting...a spreadsheet might surprise you!

What does it cost to commute in dollars and time? What is your time worth?

I haven't figured it out but I would rather feel safe at home and just deal with the commute.
