Would you make the statement that you will only vote for one party forever?
Never again will I vote anyone R...
Never
I will vote for the best candidates. Currently, no Republiclowns are the best.
Better yet, let's get rid of parties and let the candidates stand on their own merits and be beholden to none.
None of the above. I vote for the best candidate, or the lesser of two evils if there isn't a good candidate. Lately that has been D.
I never vote 3rd party as that is idiocy in the USA. Jill Stein of the Green party was at the RT gala with Flynn & Putin at the same table. Russia tries to pump up 3rd party candidates to steal votes from democrats. In Bush v Gore and in Putin v Clinton, if the 3rd party vote went to the D... Not coincidence that in both cases the D got the higher popular vote but the R won.
The electoral college needs to be abolished as little R states get disproportionately high representation while the large D states get screwed. A lot of people on the West coast don't vote as they know the states will go D and think that their votes don't matter. Everyone's vote should count equally. If so, Trump would have been crushed and we wouldn't be in this mess.
While I may be a lifelong registered Democrat, I always consider the candidate first. In local elections, some of the best have been outside my party. I do consider the party platform that I feel are more closely aligned with my issues. Unfortunately, we can't pick this from one party and that from another party, so, I have had to pick the Democrat Party to find the most alignment. I have seen a degradation of both parties from when I first voted. At this point in time, unless there are major changes, I will remain a Democrat.
I would never commit to any party for life. If the Republican party ever ran another Eisenhower type candidate, I would seriously consider voting for him/her. I cannot imagine that really happening though.
@Bendog yes it's been coming since both parties ignore the people. They just follow the money of special interests.
Parties change, people change, platforms change. To say I will always vote only for the same party would be pretty closed minded - ignoring changes.
Since age 18, I have been a liberal Democrat, environmentalist and feminist. I will never vote for a Republican. Our values are too different.
I got a Master of Public Administration degree because I get the greatest reward from doing work that helps other people.
I have voted in every election since age 18. As a volunteer, I help register new voters.
@Bendog
Don't be ridiculous.
