Two kids were hanging out with me and my dog in the park. 8 yr old Nikhil and 10 yr old Ian. I was high and not really paying attention when all of a sudden Nikhil asks the older boy this question:
"Who do you like better? The person you hate the most in the world, or me?"

At times I miss working with students of all ages.. ‘Questions’ like that were/ are a constant. So little self esteem or confidence out there, I’d do my best to share what little I had. If empathetic, you could be quickly drained; if too hardened, you shouldn’t be there ...it was a difficult balance
