I will join to be the youngest rather than the oldest!

Can we talk about where to get the best deals on cargo shorts? Then I'm in!

I would love to join, my interests are varied, I want to mentor the younger generation, not patronize them. I have things to learn too. Trying to be humble while using experience to help others.

I will give it a shot. I would do a 70 and older, but there would only be 12 of us.

You might be surprised.

I'm not a fan of segregating ourselves by age. I think it's a bad idea in general.

@Yogisan One's age isn't an interest. I see this as no different to starting a group based on race.

I’m in!! I saw the 20-40’s group and am glad you started this one for the best of us.. I mean the rest of us.

Over 50 is OK. I'm looking for a "Over 70" group. Those between 50 and 70 still enjoy sex. Over 70, we enjoy thinking about it. I'm 88 and have no memories of my last sexual encounter. I would enjoy talking about it, with other old folks. Can I still join??

Speak for yourself pops. ?

I would...but, honestly, I'm terrified it's just going to devolve into endless talk about illnesses, medications, children, grandchildren..... I can't find any group over 50 that doesn't spend at least 3/4 of their time on those subjects.

@jc2018 careers, travel, great bargains for seniors & discount things.....thoughts about investments.....and final expense pre-planning.... My issue is that senior groups tend to be nothing but bitch (health) and brag (family) groups. That gets really monotonous.

@jc2018 give it a chance, not all of us over 50 are falling apart.

@jc2018 lol well at some point all of us do.

@Funeralgirl That's exactly what I mean. I'm over 50 and don't have any health issues. But over 50 groups tend toward those that do. I'm not opposed to discussing strategies to maintain health and fitness....but I don't want to log on to constant posts about how much life sucks. It's too emotionally draining.

@jc2018 Continuing Ed. is also a great topic...especially free courses online for people over 50.

@SkotlandSkye well then move along

@Funeralgirl that makes no sense based on what I wrote.

@SkotlandSkye i meant, if it's not for you , don't join that's all, no ones holding a gun to your head, if you don't have the interest, why join???

@Funeralgirl but I DO have an interest if it's NOT a bitch/brag group. That was the POINT of all that I wrote.

Sounds good. I'll join.
