Do you have any suggestions on how you would handle the religious customers at your place of business?

Do not engage them an anything other than a strictly business and professional manner..by all mean be courteous and responsive to courtesy..be friendly but keep you distance and your opinions to yourself..just to stay out of trouble..things are tough enough without drawing attention to your religious views..or lack thereof..

I would keep my mouth shut as possible and possibly try to call the manger to take over - urgent need to go to the W.C.

Don’t get drawn in to their agenda. Keep a neutral stance and keep them guessing what you think.

I tell them that I'm a Buddhist, which I am, And no thank-you; I'm not interested in visiting your church. I'm not interested in converting to your religion. That pretty much shuts them up.

My go-to for dealing with ALL religious people who want to lecture is to mumble "Um-hum, that's NICE," in a distracted, bored manner, then immediately change the subject.

If you can, immediately move away to another task.

I hate to say it but when dealing with the public it's just best to let it roll off your back like water off a duck
