I wish I had a way to earn at least $250 per month for the next six months........... things are really hard.

I don’t know what your disability is, but if it’s not physical, there is also lawn mowing, car washing, etc.

Become a secular celebrant and perform weddings or commitment ceremonies for off-beat couples who don't want a traditional professional higher priced celebrant?

Find a niche that meshes a hobby or favorite pass time with something folks pay money for? Guiding hikes, shooting portraits, house sitting, pet walking, window washing, well that might not be a hobby, haha! Look around to see what is needed and fill that niche?

Great ideas!!!

@Secular_Squirrel You can get many certificates online, for a small fee, or even free.

@Secular_Squirrel Yes, there are a few foundational items that would be helpful to become a secular celebrant. Without transportation, professional training and/or intense self training, office equipment, office supplies, appropriate wardrobe, and access to venues, it would be difficult. After that criteria is met, the overhead is fairly low, and maybe could be "under the table" if you treat it as a hobby and only do one service per month or so, where keeping track of your expenses wouldn't be necessary. Not everyone is cut out for it either.

Probably best not to make any investments toward the gamble of making money that way. I'll be watching the suggestions here, as I have a friend in a similar situation, though has no home, just her car. I'm not sure why she doesn't get a regular job, I haven't pried into why she only works under the table, but I do know she gets "checks" in the mail. She used to clean houses for the rich, but without having a home of her own, I'm not sure her standards were the same as the homeowners, and so she was let go.

Car detailing is another thing that might take some initial investment in supplies, but the expense might be covered with your first client. Maybe some YouTube training videos on ways to make money might help.

Get yourself a set of number stencils, painters tape and some cans of black and white spray paint and go around painting house numbers on curbs. It's an easy way to make great money without much of an initial investment.

The only draw back is that you need to be ok with going door to door and getting turned down a lot. You'll probably average about two numbers an hour.
