My daughter and I tried our hands at "pour painting" for the first time today. We watched some YouTube tutorials, bought the necessary art supplies, and gave it a go. It was a bit messy (I'm so glad I laid down an old shower curtain first) but a whole lot of fun and we were pretty happy with the results. Can't wait to take what we learned and apply it to the next set of paintings.

Beautiful results! What type of paint did you use?

We just used cheap 50¢ per tube acrylic paints from Walmart + watered down Elmer's glue + Mod Podge + couple drops of rubbing alcohol (gets rid of bubbles from mixing) + a squirt of silicone treadmill lubricant spray. There's this paint conditioner stuff called Floetrol which was recommended in some YouTube videos (keeps the colors from blending too much, supposedly) but we didn't use it.
